When we break open the Bible, we witness his beauty throughout the scriptures and his word is food to us that feeds and quickens the human soul and spirit. As we read and study his word, our spirit savors the bread he has given us to sustain our spirits in this sin-stricken world. He accomplishes his work through his Holy Spirit in which he shows us his power and majesty. God loves us and wants us to have an intimate relationship with him, and he courts us as a gentleman would court his bride. He loves us so much that he sends his son Jesus to die on a cross for us to provide salvation for all of us! His plan of salvation shows his beauty, and love, in how he orders, defeats, and uses minute detail in how he works.
All of this and more is encapsulated within his word. As we study his word daily, we find strength and encouragement that he provides us. This causes a curiosity within us and a desire to read more of his word and to discover more about his beauty.
