Charlie Owens can't seem to get out of his own way. Two weeks into summer vacation his rival, LJ, double dares him to pick up a gnarly dead mouse setting off a chain of events that will test Charlie's resolve. First, Jimmy Pop dislocates his shoulder right before the big all-star baseball game; then Sam gets hypnotized and moons a huge crowd of people! Of course, Charlie is to blame. As if that wasn't bad enough, things get really dicey when Charlie bets LJ that his team would win more events at the upcoming sesquicentennial celebration. If Charlie loses the bet, he loses his new bike. To top it all off, Ella is expecting Charlie to be a dancing machine-which he's not-at the celebration's dance. Seriously? That's way too much pressure for a ten-year-old to handle!
