David Walliams (Surrey, Reino Unido, 1971) é un coñecido humorista británico polo programa de televisión Little Britain. No 2008 comezou a súa exitosa carreira como autor de literatura infantil e xuvenil. Comparado con Roald Dahl, a súa prolífica escrita creou libros supervendas como 'A avoa gánster' ou 'O neno do vestido', que foron adaptados á televisión pola BBC.
Tony Ross nació en Londres en 1938. Estudió ilustración en la Escuela de Arte de Liverpool. Tras años de trabajo para estudios de diseño y agencias de publicidad, Ross se pasó al mundo de la docencia, ejerciendo como profesor de ilustraciónen la Escuela Politécnica de Manchester. Sus dibujos han aparecido en medios como Punch, Town, Time and Tide y The News of the World. Su primer libro, Hugo and the Wicked Winter, se publicó en el año 1972 y desde entonces ha escrito más de cien libros e ilustrado unos dos mil. Su trabajo ha sido ampliamente reconocido: obtuvo en tres ocasiones el Silver Paintbrush Award; en el año 1987 se le concedió el Dutch Silver Pencil Award por su libro I Want My Potty!, que se convirtió en número uno de ventas en Reino Unido; y en 1986 ganó el German Children-s Book Prize. Actualmente reside en Gales.
