Some days start out as they always have - routinely and predictable. It just happens sometimes, that on that one day, life can be changed forever. Two shootings, a priest garrotted, two stabbings, a bikie gang clubhouse bombed. What's an ageing, uptight social worker doing involved in this madness? As if he doesn't have enough going on already; a recovering alcoholic, fragile mental health, an inability to maintain relationships and angry with the "system". But Dave has a plan for a new order of Social Justice and one of his clients, Nic the Greek, might just be able to help him achieve this. But Nic has his own agenda and when things begin to unravel, Dave realises his luck might run out. Just as he thought he had the answer, a visitor from his past catches up with him.
